Limit

Id like to post this as i am currently making a game called Limit.

If anyones got any ideas post em here cuz im startin to run out of ideas.

anyways. the game is a RTTPS (Real Time Third Person Strategy)

and as the genre goes. You appear in the Third person with full command over your own personal little force (it changes depending on what class you choose) and go from just 1 squad to a full out army with bases and planets galore.

Im working out the Kinks and id hopefully like to turn it into an MMO.

as for the squad command... anyone here ever played Star Wars:Commando... pretty much like that.

itd work out real nicely.

anyway its called Limit... because there are none XD

im currently looking at engines, any reccomendations? if you know of a Third Person game engine it would be much obliged... i cant seem to find one.

Im currently looking at the Crystal Space Engine, its pretty high quality for a freebie.

kay that didnt work, going for the Torque engine now. it looks really good.

kay, torrenting the full ver of FPS Creator.. ill find an RTS pack later and morph the two together.

torque is what we use in college... Ill be learning all the scripting this semester...

All my suggestions come from the the successful elements of several games:

AOE2
Starcraft
CnC (both red alert and tiberium)
Dawn of War: Soulstorm

There's others mixed in, but those ultimately are the most successful, imo.

I am pruining the general forums of all stupid posts that really dont pertain to warhammer. This is our public face and as long as we have potential members comming here, I don't want them being confused about what forum they just entered.
