Tournaments at "The Eye of The Storm" in 2011

After speaking with a lot of the independent tournament organisers, and looking at the historical dates for many of the established events, this is our tournament calendar for 2011. We thought it would help not only those wanting to attend our events again, but also TOs who are looking to plan their own events next year. More details will follow over the next couple of weeks, including rules pack etc, and the tickets will be on sale soon.

January 2011

8/9 Hordes & Warmachine doubles event - we've played as singles, we've played as a team, now it's time to enjoy the ever popular doubles experience!

15th & 16th Reserved for the wfb Bad Dice UK Masters event, hosted by Ben Curry

22/23 Reserved for Caledonian Uprising - a 40K event run by Timmaa

February

19/20 - Reserved for Jo Melia who is running her second Malifaux event

26/27 - wfb Team Event - this is run by us and will use a rules pack and scoring system based on the ETC. The idea is to launch an event which gives a wider group of players access to the ETC style of play, and which also may well be used to help with team selection in future years.

March

12/13 - Lightning War is our first Flames of War (FoW) tournament of the year and is for early war. 1750pts Tickets and rules pack are here;-

26/27 - reserved for an independent 40K event

April

2/3 - Spring Incursion is a wfb doubles tournament, run by ourselves and full of the usual madness and fun!

9/10 - reserved for an independent mixed system event

30/May 1st - Scrap Metal III brings you Hordes and Warmachine. 50pts, 2 lists and the chance to practice a GT style event ahead of the Nationals in June.

May

14/15 - reserved for an independent 40K event

June

4/5 - The Maelstrom Cup II is our second Blood Bowl GT style event

11/12 - Warp Storm III and we revisit the 40K universe

18/19 - Summer Incursion. Singles wfb at 2400pts

25/26 - Our second FoW tournament of the year is Sturm Uber Europa II. Mid war, all theatres and 1750pts.

July

2/3 - The European Team Challenge II. Hordes and Warmachine team event. Tickets can be bought here;-

16/17 - reserved for an independent wfb doubles event

August

26 - 28 The ETC follow up event. This is a mixed system event (wfb/40K and Whoremachine) and is aimed at all those who are travelling throughout Europe for the team event in Switzerland. We had so many overseas visitors both before and after this year's event, that we have decided to give them the opportunity for one more get together before departing for home.

We haven't yet finalised the format, but the essence will be on fun!

September

17/18 - reserved for an independent 40K event

October

1/2 - 40K Team Challenge II

8/9 - Scrap Metal IV (Hordes and Warmachine singles event)

22/23 - reserved for an independent mixed system event

29/30 - the ever increasingly popular Mansfield Maul!

November

5/6 - Fortress Germany. Late war 1750pts FoW

12/13 - reserved for an independent 40K event

December

10/11 - Winter Incursion. Wfb singles.

I will let the independent TOs make the announcements about their events when they have finalised their details. In addition to the above we will be running 5 one day events to tie in with another independent group.
