I know two people, IRL, who larp. It looks silly, but I promise you not all the larpers take themselves seriously. In fact, as far as I heard from them, they can't stop laughing at each other.

I find that making an absolute fool of myself in some ways is fun and worth the laugh that people make at my expense. LARPing will NEVER be on that list. There are some lines that should never be crossed.

I wouldn't mind doing a war recreation.

Don the kilt, bash some nerds in the face with a large wooden sword, and then take their women.

Recreation and LARPing are not even in the same universe. Recreation is fun, respectable and something people can get into.

LARPing is what the outcasts of the nerd community do.

And if you're wondering, no, I have no respect for LARPing. I've never met a larper that didn't display every reason why population control methods should be legalized.

i did something like this before i think.. I didnt really know what it was.. but my cousins friend would go out to the park and they would fight with these weapons made out of pipe fitting and some other stuff..

Looked kinda fun going out and just fighting ppl with weapons and beatin the BLUEBERRY out of each other lol.. so me and my cousin went out there a few times and they were like trying to RP with us.. which we didnt really understand wtf they meant.. So we just kept hittin ppl..

Then they tried to make us pay money to join their group and go to some festival thing and rp.. So we quit... Never really understood anything they was saying... I just remember get hit 2 times in any limb and you are considered dead...

I dont remember anyone running around saying lighting bolt.. or any other random things.. We just got into teams of 2 and ran towards each other and swing BLUEBERRY...

Man what a crappy group. I don't think I seen one heal!
