Server Selection?

Sup WF, just checking in again. I know I've been absent and you miss me! I dunno if you've discussed it or not but I am wondering about server selection. I'm positive I don't want to put CoD on a server with a lot of good Destruction guilds to soak up potential members. Its not easy to tell what servers are gonna have them, but the least I can do is try to avoid most of the pre-release guilds, besides you guys, of course.

I also don't know if you want to be on the same Open Beta server as us, seeing as we want to collect player bases and it wont be smart to compete with each other.

What are your thoughts?

I know we'll be on a Core Ruleset server. As to what that means, basically, it's not a FFA pvp fest. Make no mistake, you'll find me in the RvR zones almost at all times when I max out my level, but I would like some peace from that if I so choose.

Don't expect more than a couple servers at most for OB, though.

huh... how does the server selection work? i mean is it like WoW server selection? or multiple choices? i'm not understand what Skullfish said lol no more than 2 servers? we're playing on 2 servers??

we don't know, and we wont till about a week before release.

Aye it wasn't my intent to debate, I was curious if you would rather be on a server with large guilds or not. Some people like it because it tends to make content more accessible when people are exploring it on your server.

I need to see a list of what styles of servers there are and what the difference is between them. Can anyone help?

I prefer high pop servers. Reason being, more people to run with.

yes High population servers are the best. Even though it gets crowded, you generally are more in the thick of things.

If the servers are numbered, we will choose server number 1 or 2.

If the servers are named like in WoW, then we will choose one with a popular name, like Malice, Skorn, Spite, Naggaroth, Cold One, Druchii, Teznech, Slannesh. Im not bother to spell check these because i have to run but you get the idea.

historically however, most people will chose servers like the ones im describing.

wonder if there will be a WAAAAAAAGH! server...
