are they going to wipe the preview weekend characters for open beta?

I believe so... I know open beta gets wiped at the end.

Yes everything is wiped and will be wiped before and after OB. Kinda sucks but thats the way it is. I'll probably mess around with a different class during OB so as not to make leveling my Sorc repetitve during Headstart.

As much as it sucks to have to relevel your character multiple times, I think it's a pretty smart strat.

Because they wipe chars every time and because people know their chars are going to be wiped, most/a lot of people are going to play around with different classes specifically for that reason.
Gives people a little taste of all the different things to do/be.

Think of the poor elder beta testers, I bet they have had to relevel characters tons of times.

Yes everything is wiped at each level of beta. This is why I had about 9 characters at level 5 or 6 and my Black Orc only made level 10 for PW. I actually plan on doing the same thing for OB. I will probably push a Chosen past 5 maybe up to level 10 to make sure I picked the right tank. Another one I am interested in trying is the Shaman. He seems like a very fun and versitile class.

I have actuazlly lost count of how many Khaines I have had now that you mention it. lol. I am still going toplay a DoK during the Open Beta. It can be a challenging class to play so, practice, practice, practice.

I wouldent even want to think of how many times I have started over ... But if its helped make this a beter game I'm willing to play.. uh I mean test away ;-)

Yeah. I'm thinking of rolling a Shaman for OB. To see if I like the healing qualities of him.

But my main toon is still going to be a Chaos Chosen

Chosen name: Icelus

Shaman name: Izelus (if I can have it, lol)

I plan on making a level 1 chosen named Zul and then making a magus named Zullari to try. I might also try a disciple and marauder named Zullo and Zulregard........anyone see a pattern yet?
